Is the HydraFacial Painful?

-No, it is not. Those with sensitive or delicate skin may notice a slight burning or tingling sensation during the acid peel step, but as far as being actually painful, it is not. If you find any part of the HydraFacial very uncomfortable just tell the practitioner and we will be glad to make modifications.

Will I have peeling?

-Peeling is very rare and very minimal.

Will I be red afterward?

-Maybe a little. The redness usually resolves within an hour or two and definitely by the next morning, leaving you fresh-faced and moisturized.

What about allergic reactions?

-If you are allergic to shellfish or aspirin you should not have the HydraFacial because of some of the components that make up the facial solutions.

What skin types respond best to the HydraFacial?

-The HydraFacial is good for all skin types because we can target a variety of concerns: acne, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles. And we can keep good skin healthy and looking good with regular exfoliation, pore cleansing and protection.

How often should I have a HydraFacial?

-The recommended frequency is once a month, but some clients find that every 6-8 weeks is sufficient.

For the best results must I use the daily use HydraFacial products?

-Of course you would want to extend the results of your HydraFacial by using great skin care products every day. Ours employ a home care version of the same ingredients we used in your HydraFacial. They will last you for several months and are very competitively priced with other high quality skin care products, often costing much less. However, if you are happy with what you are already using, now that we have exfoliated your skin and cleansed your pores, your skin products will absorb and work that much better.
